For 20+ years Windsor Weekend has been held at the Motorplex. It has grown to be the largest community Drag race event in the country. Classes are predominately for Windsor/Essex competitors ( but junior dragster is open to anyone and there is one big car class for those not from Windsor/Essex). Spectators from anywhere are welcome.

The event features Show cars, Heads up Classes, Jet Truck and Fireworks.

New for 2026 –  we will have “Supercar Experiences” on the back portion of the road course. So if you have ever wanted to drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche or maybe a McClaren here is your chance. Go to supercarexperiences.ca to book your ride/timeslot.
